Sentiment: The Norfolk is still the nicest hotel to stay in Nairobi and probably in East Africa. The recent renovations have added some very nice new rooms and expanded the Lobby and Delamere Terrace. I slightly miss the intimacy of the old Delamere Terrace, but this works very well now as both a bar and restaurant for breakfast, lunch and light dinners. The staff are superbly friendly and helpful and teh gardens are a sublimely peaceful place to look into while unwinding from jet-lag.
