RICHARD’S CAMP

Richard’s Camp is a small, private & exclusive safari camp in the Masai Mara, it was  originally built as a family home in the Masai Mara in the 1980s. At Richard’s Camp guests have the opportunity to experience the real Africa; days of heart-stopping game viewing, evenings enjoying cocktails by a cozy campfire and delicious three-course meals under an awe inspiring canopy of starsRichard’s Camp is owned and operated by Richard Roberts and Liz Fusco. Richard was raised in the Masai Mara and his parents were instrumental in bringing together the Masai communities that form the wildlife conservation association that exists in this area today.

KICHECHE MARA CAMP

Kicheche Mara Camp is a classic tented camp hidden in a grove of wild olive and croton trees in a prime wildlife area of the northern Mara plains. The camp is f limited to twenty two guests. Kicheche Mara Camp is located on the Aitong Plains in the northern Koiyaki Lemek region of the famous Greater Mara. The camp is located in a prime wildlife area and game viewing starts right from the camp itself.

The camp offers a friendly and relaxing stay, each tent is comfortably furnished with an en-suite bathroom and flushing toilet, low wattage lighting is supplied 24 hours. The majority of the tents are in secluded positions overlooking the plains and nearby hills, while others are closer together for families or friends.

ELEPHANT PEPPER CAMP

Situated right on the Northern Edge of the Maasai Mara reserve, Elephant Pepper Camp is a step back in time, an original bush camp, a return to the traditional bush safari camp: starlit nights, campfire tales and hurricane lamps. but with modern comforts: evenings by the campfire and dinner under the stars are a special feature of this tented camp. This 8-tented bush camp is  a seasonal camp, which is taken down for a month or so in the rainy seasons. The homely atmosphere of this camp is part of its charm. Clients can relax with nature, no generators, no vehicles passing, no permanent structures jarring the skyline, just the sights and sounds of the bush which completely surround you.Each ten has en-suite bathrooms. The appetising food is prepared by chefs trained by the owners’ family using traditional North Italian recipes mixed with international and local favourites. A barbecue by the campfire, dinner in the mess tent, or a bush breakfast on the open plains are some of the lasting memories to take home.

PORINI LION CAMP, OLE OROK CONSERVANCY

Porini Lion Camp is located in the exclusive 20,000 acre Olare Orok Conservancy, which borders the Masai Mara Game Reserve, home to an abundance of animals including the Big Cats for which the Mara is famous. The Camp is situated along the banks of the NtiakatiakRiver, a seasonal river with some permanent hippo pools near the camp. With 6 luxury guest tents the camp is very exclusive and giving you a real safari in the bush experience. The tents are very spacious and have private verandahs along the length of the tent.  Each tent has en-suite bathrooms with flush toilets and hot showers. Food is excellent with fresh baked bread and high quality meals prepared by the camp Chef.

MARA HIPPO LODGE

The Mara Hippo Lodge is located near the Ololaimatek south-side of the Mara Triangle. Its one of the most beautiful lodges to be found within and around the world famous Mara Game Reserve.

Accommodation is within suspended cabins equipped with beds, bathrooms and toilets. The lodge offers a choice of excellent dishes serving a wide range of international cuisine and a mixture of African delicacies and has a well stocked bar where you can relax and quench your thirst after your long drive to the Mara or after a breathtaking game drive. In order to harmonise this beautiful game laden landscape, the lodge has put in great effort to protect its greatest asset, the environment. So all architectural structures at the Mara Hippo Safari Lodge have been designed to compliment the magnificent surrounding.

SAROVA MARA TENTED LODGE

Situated inside Kenya’s Masai Mara National Reserve, the camp is set on an elevation surrounded by two streams andhidden amidst wide gardens with manicured lawns and exotic flowers. Facilities include a dining area that has internal and external seating and two bars, one internal with a fireplace and the other near the poolside. There is a swimming pool and curio shop. There are three tents, which can be used to seat up to 300 conference delegates. The camp consists of 75 tents, of which three are permanent triple rooms. All rooms have 24-hour electricity and a private en suite bathroom with a shower and hot and cold running water.

KICHAKANAI CAMP

Kichakani Camp is a simple classic safari camp nestled amidst the big figs on the edge of the expansive Masai Mara Game Reserve. The camp is conveniently located on the banks of the Talek River, just next to a major wildebeest crossing point. The camp’s architecture is of semi-permanent grass thatched Bandas fitted with tents which have en-suite washrooms.Kichakani Camp offers accommodation for 33 guests under canvas. The tents are spacious with twin or queen sized bed, with bed side tables, luggage racks, rags and floor mats and are fully insect and bug proof.

OL MORAN TENTED CAMP

Ol Moran Tented Camp is an exclusive tented camp for those who want to be true to wild experience. The camp is situated within the Masai Mara Eco-system and on the banks of Oloolaimutia River which is a watering point for most of wild animals especially elephants, buffalos, antelopes etc 20 Kms from Keekorok Air Strip, 15 Kms from Sekenani Gate, 2Kms from Oloolaimutia Gate and 230kms from Nairobi. MARA SIDAI CAMP

Mara Sidai camp is a budget safari camp located  800 meters from Olaimutiek gate and 250 km from Nairobi. The camp has permanent self contained tents with four poster twin beds, all tents have flush toilets.

The camp area is divided into two areas, one for the campers to pitch their tents and the other one with the tented rooms. With prior request, meals are also available and menus can be tailor made to suit clients with various budgets and tastes.

DAVID LIVINGSTONE SAFARI RESORT

David Livingstone Safari Resort commands spectacular views in the Serengeti-Mara eco-system; it lines the Mara River on the edge of the Masai Mara Game Reserve and overlooks deep pools infested with hippos and crocodiles.
