Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi
Early start from Kampala after breakfast. Enroute stop overs at the Kayabwe equator for photos and in Mbarara town for lunch. After lunch proceed reaching Bwindi late in the evening. Dinner and overnight at Gorilla resort or Buhoma lodge or Buhoma community Bandas.
Day 2: Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Forest
Report to Buhoma Park headquarters for briefing on gorilla tracker’s code of conduct. This will be done by a park official. Thereafter a park ranger will lead you into the forest to search for the mountain gorillas. Maximum tracking time is one hour. The moment spent with these huge apes is exhilarating; the minutes will go by before you realize it. You may observe other resident primates whilst on your tracking expedition like pottos, bush babies and monkeys. Dinner and overnight at Gorilla resort or Buhoma lodge or Buhoma community Bandas.
Day 3: Return to Kampala
After a morning breakfast, return back to Kampala stopping en-route for lunch and arriving in the early evening.
