Why Choose a Private Lodge Safari & Tips

Opting for a private lodge safari means you travel with only your group, stay in quality lodges rather than camps, and enjoy flexible schedule, personalized service and premium amenities.
Tips:

  • Pack neutral-colored clothing for game drives, and warm clothes for forest/highland stays (Treetops).

  • Bring binoculars and a DSLR/zoom lens for wildlife photography.

  • Game drives typically are early morning (~06:00–10:00) and afternoon (~15:00–18:30) — plan for early starts.

  • Respect wildlife: stay in vehicle, follow your guide’s advice, keep safe distances.

  • Consider adding a beach extension after your safari if you have extra days for relaxation.
