Day 1: Nairobi – Mount Kenya

Leave Nairobi for the Mount Kenya National Park. Today the safari route shall be via the rich farmland of the kikuyu community. We shall stop to visit the Karatina market. The Karatina market is the largest fresh food market in East Africa. Afternoon relaxation or wildlife viewing from the balconies of the lodge. Overnight at Mountain Lodge or Similar.

 

Day 2: Mt. Kenya – Samburu National Reserve

After breakfast proceed to the Samburu Game Reserve. The easy scenic drive is via the Kenya highlands and the semi-arid frontier district. Along the breath taking drive we shall experience four climatic zones. Afternoon game viewing drives along the banks of Ewaso Nyiro river. Later return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

 

Day 3: Full Day Samburu National Reserve

Full day shall be spent at the Samburu game reserve with unlimited game viewing drives along the banks of the Ewaso nyiro River. Picnic lunches are provided while in the park, samburu as many species of animals among them are Lion, gravy’s Zebra, Cheetah, Buffalo, Elephant, Oryx, reticulated Giraffe, somali ostrich etc. later in the evening return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

 

Day 4: Samburu National Park – Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast depart Samburu for Lake Nakuru arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive, view plenty of birds species, chances to see the “Big five” and many others. Dinner and overnight at a lodge.

“Lake Nakuru National Park was the first National Park in Africa to be set aside primarily for the conservation of birdlife and the site of Kenya’s first Rhino Sanctuary. Famous worldwide for its great flock of pink Flamingo which is estimated to number more than a million times, you can also see some 400 Species of birds. The lakes on the floor of the Great Rift Valley are fed by three seasonal rivers, The Njoro, the Makali and the Enderit, but has no outlet”

 

 Day 5: Lake Nakuru National Park – Maasai Mara National Reserve

Depart Nakuru after breakfast for Maasai Mara arriving in time for lunch. Check in on our campsite or lodge and relax as you take coffee or tea later afternoon game drive Latter you return back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

 

Day 6: Full Day Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast leaves the lodge with a picnic lunches and have a full day game drive. Search for the different species of animals in this park up to the Mara River where crocodiles and hippopotamus are seen, break for the picnic lunch and precede with the game drive up to 1700hrs, back to the lodge for optional activity e.g. a visit to the maasai village at an extra cost.

“The Mara offers wildlife in such variety and abundance that it is difficult to believe: over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. You will easily see lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffe, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, buffalo, leopard, many kinds of antelopes and elephant. It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Following on their heels are the predators of the savanna- lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal, hyena and vultures”

 

Day 7: Masai Mara National Reserve – Lake Naivasha

Pre-morning game drive return to the lodge for full breakfast, later check out and embark on a journey to Lake Naivasha via Narok town with lunch enroute as we proceed to Naivasha  arriving in the evening. optional extra Activities at an extra cost, Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

 

Day 8: Lake Naivasha – Amboseli National Park

After breakfast visit the Hells gate National park for your game driver afterwards proceed to Amboseli via Nairobi with Lunch on the way to  Amboseli  National Park famous for its unforgettable views of Kilimanjaro, and a relaxed abundant population of elephants as well as prolific bird life. All meals and overnight at the lodge.

 

Day 9: Full Day Amboseli National Park

    A day of game drives in this park which contains swamp grounds in which elephants and hippos bathe in abundance. A variety of plains game, antelopes and birds can also be seen and Mt. Kilimanjaro’s peak too if weather conditions permit. We will cater for picnic lunches then afternoon game drive follows upto 1700hrs back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

 

Day 10: Amboseli National Park – Nairobi 

Early morning game viewing return to the Lodge  for  full breakfast later drive back to Nairobi through Nairobi – Namanga road. Either be dropped at Emali to catch up your bus to Mombasa or return to Nairobi where you will be dropped either at airport or our Nairobi hotel.
